I absolutely cannot wait for the Pittsburgh Voltage Lab

Loopop just did a review on it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sad I didn't get in on the kickstarter. I'm sure eventually I'll grab one (idc really about the keyboard portion). I look forward to hearing what everyone in the group who grabbed one has to say.

  • A big selling point for me was the touch controller. I like interesting controllers.

Just hearing the little minute long snippets that Pittsburgh made of it, it sounds super impressive.

I'll definitely be checking out the video you posted after meetings. They might be able to change my mind about the touch controller. I DID think about grabbing the Arturia MicroFreak because of the touch controller, so apparently I can be swayed.

@mrwilliam Thanks for that link, I am sure I would have seen it tonight, but it is nice to have something to look forward to.

That said, another Kickstarter email was just sent out, apparently the manuals have been posted https://pittsburghmodular.com/voltage-research-laboratory scroll to the bottom of the page.

  • Nice! Looks like the blackbox editions are going to ship soon.

Hopefully the full system will come out soon too!

  • More emails from PGH today. @mrwilliam Are you going to get yours signed? I see the appeal, but I am not, myself.

  • Yeah I decided to get it signed. I thought about it for a while and decided it would be cool to have the unit stand out as a supporter on kickstarter.

  • I thought @mrwilliam would be all over that. It looks pretty cool!
